STAY STRONG.
STAY INDEPENDENT.
STAY IN YOUR HOME.
Welcome — I'm Ryan and I've been Helping Older Adults
Stay Active & Independent for Nearly 30 Years
For nearly 30 years, I've had the privilege of helping older adults become
stronger, move better, and feel more confident in their everyday lives.
My background includes a Bachelor of Science degree with studies in
Biology and Psychology, followed by my Physical Therapist Assistant degree.
Over the years, I've worked with hundreds of older adults and learned
something important:
It's not really about exercise.
It's about being able to do the things that make life enjoyable.
It's about walking through the neighborhood, getting up from your favorite chair, carrying groceries into the house, playing with your grandchildren, traveling, gardening, or simply feeling confident moving around your own home.
Those everyday moments matter.
As we get older, it's normal for some things to become more challenging. Maybe you don't feel quite as steady as you used to. Maybe getting up and down is harder. Maybe you simply want to maintain the strength and independence you've worked hard to build.
That's where I come in.
My approach is simple: listen first, understand your goals, and create a plan that fits you.
No cookie-cutter workouts.
No trying to keep up with a class.
No judgment.
Just personalized, one-on-one coaching focused on helping you feel stronger, move with more confidence, and continue doing the things you enjoy.
And because this happens in your home, we can focus on the movements that actually matter in your everyday life.

A Different Kind of Coaching Experience
When you work with me, you'll get more than just exercises.
You'll get someone who shows up on time, communicates clearly, listens to what matters to you, and genuinely cares about helping you succeed.
After decades of working with older adults, I've learned that everyone has a different story, different goals, and different challenges. You deserve to be treated as an individual — not handed a generic workout plan.
My job is to meet you where you are, help you make progress, and make the process comfortable, encouraging, and even enjoyable.
And yes, we'll probably share a few laughs along the way. 😄
Because getting stronger doesn't have to feel intimidating. It should feel practical, supportive, and something you look forward to.

I did P.T. and was discharged but I had a long way to go.
I called Ryan and it was the best decision I ever made. When I first met Ryan, I was in a dark place
physically and psychologically. I felt like I would never get better and had lost hope of living a normal lifestyle.
From day one, Ryan came in with a such a positive outlook...read more...

As a physical therapist who works in the East Mountains, I have found Mobile Senior Fitness to be a fantastic adjunct to the care provided in therapy. I have referred several patients to Ryan Crandall over the last few years, and without failure, each of them that has worked with him has found the services he provides to be very beneficial. Ryan has provided a way for them to continue to improve their strength, balance, and endurance while working in the security of their own home environment after outpatient therapy is no longer needed. There have even been times when we work with clients concurrently...read more...

Important:
Mobile Senior Fitness provides fitness-based strength, balance, and mobility coaching for older adults. Coaching is educational and fitness-focused and is not physical therapy, occupational therapy, or medical treatment.
Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise program if you have questions about whether exercise is appropriate for you.
During in-home coaching sessions, I serve exclusively as a personal trainer and movement coach. If I believe your needs would be better addressed by a physical therapist or another healthcare professional, I'll recommend the appropriate referral.
