STAY STRONG. STAY INDEPENDENT. STAY IN YOUR HOME

Personalized In-Home Strength, Balance & Mobility Coaching for Older Adults in Albuquerque

As we get older, it's common to notice small changes.

Maybe getting out of a chair takes a little more effort.

Walking isn't quite as comfortable as it used to be.

Stairs require more attention.

Balance doesn't feel quite as automatic.

For many people, these changes happen gradually.

The encouraging news is that they don't always have to continue in that direction.

With the right guidance, many older adults can improve their strength, balance, mobility, and confidence—helping them remain active, capable, and independent for years to come.

That's why I created Mobile Senior Fitness.

I provide personalized, one-on-one coaching in the comfort of your own home, helping older adults build strength, improve balance, move with greater confidence, and continue doing the activities that matter most.

No gym.

No crowded fitness centers.

No unnecessary travel.

Just individualized coaching designed specifically for you.

Meet Ryan Crandall, BS, PTA

For more than 28 years, I've worked with older adults in physical therapy and fitness settings, helping people improve the way they move and maintain their independence.

Some of the individuals I work with have recently completed physical therapy and want to continue making progress.

Others simply recognize they're not as steady or as strong as they once were and want expert guidance before those small changes become bigger limitations.

Every person is different.

That's why every visit is personalized.

My goal isn't simply to recommend exercises.

It's to help you better understand how to move with greater strength, balance, confidence, and independence so you can continue enjoying the activities that matter most to you.

Your First Visit

In-Home Senior Strength & Balance Consultation

$199 • Approximately 90 Minutes

Every new client begins with a personalized in-home consultation.

This isn't a workout.

It isn't about seeing how much you can do.

It's an opportunity for us to sit down together, discuss your goals, talk about the challenges you've noticed, and better understand how you're moving in everyday life.

During our visit, I'll observe how you move while walking, standing up from a chair, changing directions, balancing, and performing other everyday movements that support independent living.

We'll discuss what I'm seeing, answer your questions, and identify practical strategies you can begin using immediately.

Rather than handing you a generic list of exercises, I'll explain why I recommend certain movements and how they relate to your everyday life.

By the end of our visit, you'll leave with practical recommendations, equipment suggestions if appropriate, and a clear understanding of where to focus your efforts moving forward.

Many individuals find that's all they need to begin making meaningful improvements.

Others choose to continue with ongoing 45-minute personalized coaching sessions, allowing us to build strength, improve balance, progress safely over time, and stay accountable together.

TESTIMONIAL
What some Clients and Healthcare Professionals Are Saying
As a physical therapist who works in the East Mountains, I have found Mobile Senior Fitness to be a fantastic adjunct to the care provided in therapy. I have referred several patients to Ryan Crandall over the last few years, and without failure, each of them that has worked with him has found the services he provides to be very beneficial.  Ryan has provided a way for them to continue to improve their strength, balance, and endurance while working in the security of their own home environment after outpatient therapy is no longer needed. There have even been times when we work with clients concurrently.

I worked with Ryan in the outpatient therapy setting before he went out on his own, and was always excited to see his creativity in working with patients/clients. He is caring and compassionate, while at the same time making you work to your full potential. He is able to make exercise more enjoyable, and is excellent at working with people at whatever level they are physically. I feel very confident in recommending Mobile Senior Fitness to anyone who wants to remain living in their own home and community safely and as independently as possible as they reach those "golden years"."

I had broken my hip and it dislocated 3 times. I had 5 surgeries and was out of commission for 2 years. I did P.T. and was discharged but I had a long way to go.  I called Ryan and it was the best decision I ever made.  When I first met Ryan, I was in a dark place physically and psychologically.  I felt like I would never get better and had lost hope of living a normal lifestyle.  From day one, Ryan came in with a such a positive outlook that it was contagious.  We started slowly but in the time I’ve been working with him, I have improved to the point where I am able to live a normal lifestyle.  My outlook greatly improved, as well.
Ryan truly changed my life and I will always owe him a debt of gratitude."

Ryan is a highly knowledgeable trainer with a supportive coaching style. He helped me get stronger at a time that I greatly needed help. Working with Ryan put me on a path of strength training and the result has been excellent. Ryan’s commitment to safety and proper form was the ideal combination for me!”
